Amanda Rotondo

Experience Research & Strategy

Amanda has 25 years' experience in UX research, strategy, and design. She earned a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from RPI, studying the effects of empathy on the success of geographically distributed design teams. Her MA from Penn State focused on the emotional impacts of pharmaceutical drug ads.   Her career includes consulting, leadership roles in agencies and startups, academic research, and professional writing. She is an expert on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, in addition to mixed methods, and takes pride in designing research that produces strategic, actionable results. Amanda believes that positive, collaborative team environments lead to both the most innovative and successful outcomes, and the most fulfilling work experiences.
