Dustin is a behavior change design leader who balances evidence and innovation to deliver breakthrough products and services that help people become healthier, happier, and more financially capable. Most recently, he served as Chief Product and Design officer at meQuilibrium, where he defined the company’s strategic vision and led cross-functional product teams in delivering and scaling enterprise solutions that strengthen employee engagement, performance, mental health, and wellbeing.
Prior to meQ, Dustin founded the Behavior Change Design practice and methodology at Mad*Pow with the mission to integrate behavioral science, human-centered design, and technology to create products and services that empower people to change real-world behaviors and reach their goals. From 2009-2022, Dustin partnered with global health, life-sciences, financial institutions, and governments, to bring category-defining digital and hybrid behavior change interventions to market.
An internationally sought after presenter and trainer, he has been invited to present and keynote at leading design and behavioral science conferences and has trained hundreds of practitioners on how to apply behavioral science throughout the design process to deliver more engaging and impactful solutions. He has held positions as an executive scientific committee member at University College London’s Centre for Behaviour Change, an adjunct professor at Rhode Island School of Design and has authored and co-authored a number of industry and journal articles and book chapters on behavior change and digital intervention design.
