Victor Udoewa, Participatory Systems Change
Victor Udoewa is a systems practitioner and service designer. He served as Principal Service Designer in the Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology at the CDC, and as CTO, CXO, and Service Design Lead of NASA Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. Prior to that, he was the Director of Strategy at 18F, a civic consultancy for and inside the government. He led the digital strategy practice and served as a designer and strategist on projects. Before NASA, he served as Global Education Instructional Designer and Training Development Specialist at Google, he designed learning products and services for people in low-to-middle-income countries around the world.
Victor is a practitioner of Radical Participatory Design, and has experience giving up power, prioritizing the wisdom and skills of community members as they lead their own interventions and approaches.
